Built for what happens after the search.
Most face-search tools stop at a list of links. WaitWHO keeps going — explaining what the results mean, what to do next, and what happens to your photo.
Interpretation layer
Exposure grade, confidence scoring, and a platform breakdown — so a list of links becomes an answer, not a homework assignment.
Post-scan guides
Step-by-step walkthroughs for PimEyes, Google, Bing, and more — plus first-response guides for leak sites and resurfaced profiles.
Privacy artifact trail
Uploaded images are purged after the scan and a visible receipt confirms it. No identity claims, no hidden retention.
Watchlist & rescans
Save a face, let WaitWHO recheck public sources on a schedule, and get notified when something new shows up.
Some things don't stay buried online.
Old profiles, reposts, archives, and public pages can resurface later. A single image can travel farther than expected.
A few of the moments it comes up.
Short, common scenarios — not recommendations, just honest context for what kind of search this is.
Old photos you'd forgotten about
Modeling pictures, early social accounts, or portfolio reposts that kept traveling long after you stopped posting them.
A private account that surfaced
A profile you thought was locked down showing up in public results — often because of an older setting, reposted image, or reused handle.
Checking before a job search
Reviewing what's visible about your face before interviews, publicity, or a move into a more public-facing role.

The twelve most common questions about how WaitWHO works, what it doesn't do, and what happens to your photo.
What is WaitWHO?
WaitWHO is a face-search app. Upload a photo and we search publicly available images across the web for visually similar matches, so you can review what may be publicly visible.
Is WaitWHO available on iPhone?
Yes — WaitWHO is currently iPhone-only. Android support is planned for Summer 2026.
What kind of websites are searched?
Results may include publicly available pages such as social profiles, articles, image platforms, forums, archived pages, and other indexed public sources.
Is WaitWHO searching private accounts?
No. WaitWHO only searches publicly available sources. Private accounts, locked content, and anything behind a login are not searched.
What happens to my photo after the scan?
Your uploaded image is used to run the search and isn't kept long-term. Once the scan completes, the image is purged from our systems. We never sell photos, add them to a public index, or use them to train models.
Does WaitWHO remove content for me?
No. WaitWHO is a search and awareness tool — it doesn't file takedowns or remove content on your behalf. The in-app guides walk you through the options available directly from the hosting platform.
Why should I try multiple photos?
Different photos can produce different results. Lighting, age, hairstyle, angle, glasses, and how much of the face is visible all affect similarity matching.
How do I find old photos of myself online?
Try both recent and older photos in WaitWHO and compare the results. Older photos can surface archived pages that newer ones miss, and vice versa.
Why did my results change later?
The web changes constantly. New pages get indexed, old pages disappear, and the public sources we search update over time — so the same photo can return different matches on different days.
What does Premium include?
Premium plans may include recurring rescans, alerts when new possible matches are detected, additional included searches, and expanded monitoring tools.
Will I get alerts if something new appears?
Premium users may receive notifications when new possible matches are detected during scheduled rescans.
What if I find a photo I don't want online?
WaitWHO includes guides covering common removal requests, reporting steps, and opt-out forms for major search indexes and face-search services.
